On 12th December 2020, a meeting was organized Chalakkuzhy Devaki Warrier center  in memory of smt Padmini Varkey who left us on 12th Dec 2015. Her loving memory is the leading light of the organisation.

The meeting was inaugurated by Dr.Thomas Issac also spoke on the occasion who shared the loving and sweet memories about Padmini Varkery.The Padmini Varkey Smaraka Award for 2020 was given to Jessyimmanuel.R.Parvahy Devi introduced the award winner to all. Anasooya delivered inaugural address. T. Radhamani and Sajitha Elamon delivered welcome speech and vote of thanks respectively.

The Minister Dr.Thomas Issac distributed medical aid of Rs 1400 to 17 cancer patients using the endowment interest introduced by Radhamani and to eight persons using the endowment interest introduced by Ambika Devi. When we pointed out to the minister that children with cancer living in the care were not getting free treatment, he reinstated the free treatment within two weeks.
