Padmini Varkey Memorial Award 2021 was presented to Deepa Joseph, the first woman ambulance driver in Kerala. Deepa deserves the award for her courage and commitment to saving the lives of many, including Covid. Education Minister V Sivankutty presented the award on 12 December 2021, the anniversary of Padmini Varkey's death.

Trust President Anasuya presided over the function held at Hassan Marakkar Hall. Secretary T Radhamani welcomed the gathering and Geeta Nazir and R Parvathi Devi were present. V Sivankutty, Women's Commission Chairperson Advocate P Sathi Devi and Planning Board Member Mini Sukumar were felicitated by the Devaki Warrior Memorial Center.Minister V.Sivankutty released the book 'Ramanujam: Luminosity of Theater' written by Dr. RB Rajalakshmi by giving the first copy to Mini Sukumar. 

The Devaki Warrier Memorial Literary Award, which was replaced by Covid in 2020, was also presented. Megha Radhakrishnan is the award winner. Anjali and Anushree were given consolation prizes. The story about Devaki Warrier was presented by Snehalatha.
